Music Centre Vredenburg is an example of democratic architecture, typical of the seventies, where a music hall should not have any barriers. This approachability was reflected in the programming. Both pop, jazz, poetry and classical versions were programmed; from the annual Night of Poetry to a concert by The Rolling Stones.
